At Portland Media Center, we offer studios and gear that’s available for hourly rental—whether you’re producing a podcast, filming a show, editing your film or audio, or broadcasting live to the world.
You can reserve time with our spaces and gear using the panel on the right, and see descriptions below. Members receive a 50% discount on all rentals, and free 24-hour field camera kit loans!
Podcast Studio
Record crystal-clear audio in our professional Podcast Studio—equipped with broadcast mics, soundproofing, and recording software. Ideal for solo shows, interviews, or panel discussions, with staff support available to help you sound your best.
Borrow a Field Camera

TV Production Studio
Our Production Studio is built for TV and media pros—multi-camera setup, green screen, lighting grid, and control room included. Perfect for shows, livestreams, panels, and more, with expert staff ready to support your creative vision.
Congress Street Studio
A bright, street-level space perfect for interviews, podcasts, and creative shoots. The Congress Street Studio offers natural light, pro gear, and a stylish backdrop—ideal for content creators, nonprofits, and community storytellers.
ZOOM RECORDERS & MICS
We have Zoom H6N audio recorders that you can reserve with up to 4 mics (including lav mics) for your oral history or field recording project
Editing ROOMS
Use our professional editing suite, loaded with the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite and DaVincci Resolve. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned editor, our staff are available to help you shape your footage into a polished, powerful story.
Event rental
Rent our space for your event. We’ve had many live comedy shows, film screenings and discussions.
