Our TV studio space is a great setting for small events. The space comfortably seats 60, with standing room for up to 90. Portland Media Center has been the home for performances, comedy, improv, theater, music, readings, and lectures. Reach out to : pmc@portlandmedia.org about renting our space for events.
Watch the Frst Episode of The New Youth Times
Thursday, October 23rd from 6-8pm
The New Youth Times is a new television news show made by teens at Portland Media Center. Through interviews, parody commercials, animations and special segments, the show asks – “What do you care about?” and “How do you engage with communities?” Join us to watch the first episode, hear about the process and there will be fun activities like an audio booth and interactive posters.
The program is supported by The Davis Family Foundation, MYAN (the Maine Youth Action Network) and YPC (the Young People’s Caucus).
