DOCENTS
Meet Kerry Corthell and Suzie Sargent Both have lost their jobs in fields in the poor economy. They are now using their “free” time to train as Docents for the Portland museum system – to do something they are both interested in and to make connections for what they hope will be new career paths.

JOE OWEN
Joe Own was a veteran reporter for Stars and Stripes newspaper telling the stories of men and women in the armed forces around the world. His career began at the Kennebec Journal and he has returned to Maine to tell our stories as well.

SUSAN DOUGHTY
Susan spent many years as a nurse practitioner and administrator. On a 50th birthday cruise in Greece Susan realized she wanted hear her patient’s stories and she began a practice dedicated to women dealing with the health challenges of their own Second Acts.
