The indictment states that the Maine DOC treated Victor Valdez, an immigrant, with cruel and inhumane treatment which resulted in Victor's death. Maine Social Justice: Walk for Peace in Maine
On November third, a coalition of Veterans for Peace, Code Pink, U of M Farmington Students, Buddhist Monks and many others began a walk dedicated to bringing a message of Peace across Maine. The Veterans for Peace organized and sponsored the walk that started in Farmington and went through Skowhegan, Waterville, Bangor, Belfast, Rockland, Bath, Freeport and will end up in Portland on November 11th.
