October 2008 brought us the Henrines. A prolifice song-writer, Henry works with multiple bands and tonight's version 'The Henrines' gave a great example of his talents.

The Rafters visited us on Patiots Day 2008. How do I remember? Dave, one half of the duo, had pink cheeks that could only have been gotten by spending the afternoon at Fenway Park. Others across the world may know the other tradition that takes place that day, The Boston Marathon. Take a listen to Dave and hiis wife as tehy perform some great original tunes.

We welcomed in award winning country artist Ted Painter. Ted's experienced the world and shares it all in his music. Shortly after visiting us, he created a great concept video for one of his tunes.

We welcome legendary Folk Singer Bob Martin. It's the only show I've ever been nervous for. Search for him online and you'll understand why. Anyway, his music was great and he was a fascinating to talk with. Bob came recommeded to us by former guest Marty Nestor and we can't thank him enough for doing so.

Chakra Fest is a collection of local artists getting together to share their talents. I recorded 5 hours of music culminating in the CD release of Dan Chauvin's 'Small Town Life'. I've split the day into two two-hour shows and one one-hour show which features Dan's performance.

See where it all began. Our first show was recorded Sept. 24, 2007. The Cool Cash Bandits were our first guests and really saved the day with their incredible improv rif when I put them on the spot because the show had run too short! I should note, Westford CAT had just moved into a new studio and didn't have curtains or colored lights at the time, so (hopefully) you'll notice the quality of the shows getting better with time. Marty's a veteran of the Lowell music scene who encapsulates everything our show is striving to showcase. He's legendary for helping musicians find venues to play and has more connections than you could ever want. Marty's 'Americana' music really sticks with you. From a personal point, this is when we knew the show was going to 'make it', because by the end of the night Marty was giving us contact info of other performers. December 2007, our last episode of 2007 starred the first band we ever booked. I spotted the playing at a Chocolate Festival and the music was a sweet to my ears as the chocolate was to my mouth. 🙂 The Vibes, also known a Aquatorch, featured Briana on vocals, who also makes a guest appearance at the BenJAMin' BENefit that was taped in August 2009 and will be uploaded later in 2009.
