Airwaves Newsletter

If you subscribe to our monthly Airwaves newsletter, your name and email will be encrypted and saved. These details are saved until you unsubscribe when the data is permanently deleted.

Cookies

If you fill out a form or leave a comment on our site, your name and email address are saved. This information is saved until you request that it be deleted.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

 

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

  • Membership or renewal reminders

  • Updates related to your participation or support

  • Occasional fundraising or program updates

Opt-In Methods:
You may opt in by:

  • Texting the keyword GIVE to 207-560-4747 as advertised on our website or promotional materials

  • Completing a web form and checking the SMS consent box

After texting GIVE, you may receive a confirmation message requiring you to reply YES to confirm enrollment before receiving additional messages.

Consent:
By opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages at the phone number provided. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or donation.

Message Frequency:
Message frequency varies but will not exceed 4 messages per month.

Rates:
Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-Out:
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.

Data Use:
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes. We may use a third-party messaging provider (such as Twilio) solely to deliver SMS messages on our behalf.

Who do we share your data with?

 

We will never sell or share your data.

How long we retain your data

 

We store the personal information provided by users who register on our website in a user profile. This personal information can only be seen by the logged-in user and may be viewed, edited, or deleted at any time (usernames cannot be changed). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

 

Your rights over your data

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you provided. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
