The Civic IQ G20 media intensive that started on July 7th with teens from local highschools was incredible! Here are some photos from the projects made in the last few weeks of the program.

The youth team conducted more interviews like the one pictured here with Representative Ellie Sato.

They filmed two days of what we called, “Mic on the Street” interviewing local youths about what they care about and how they stay engaged with community.

The group added animation to the project, here is a photo of Douglas working with Dragonframe and stop motion.

On the last day of the program we walked up to Reny’s and bought t-shirts and then had an incredible silkscreen workshop at MECA&D and learned how to burn a screen and we printed the logo for The New Youth Times show on the front of the shirts.
