On Thursday October 23rd we had an awesome event here at PMC to share the first episode of The New Youth Times, a new television show created by local teenagers about civic engagement. The New Youth Times started this past summer as part of a Civic IQ and Gateway to Opportunity intensive in collaboration with MYAN (Maine Youth Action Network) and YPC (The Young People’s Caucus). We had a nice turnout of people in our studio to watch the episode and listen to the teen producers talk about their experience and takeaways.
