Cut, Print, That’s a Review.

On the latest episode of “Cut, Print, That’s a Review!”, Brendon covers a few contemporary movies that you can still see in theaters, in addition to recommending a couple of streaming/home media releases.

The first movie he discusses is Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, the 1930s horror gangster period piece about minorities who encounter a mysterious, vampiric presence while experiencing their first night in a juke joint in the South.

The second movie is Warfare, Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza’s account of the 2006 Battle of Ramadi during the American invasion of Iraq, supposedly entirely based around the actual memories of the events which occurred.

The third movie is Isaiah Saxon’s The Legend of Ochi, a children’s movie about a girl who encounters a small creature while on a hunting expedition and attempts to return them to their family.

The fourth movie is the documentary Secret Mall Apartment, directed by Jeremy Workman, about a very quirky, transgressive art project and the inventive, philanthropic minds behind it talking about what their art stands for.
