YES&Co. Improv Comedy — Featuring Jessica Chaples and Kim Lloyd
In this episode of YES&Co., two guest storytellers inspire an entire night of unscripted comedy.
First, Jessica Chaples shares a true personal story with the audience. Using her story as inspiration, the improvisers of YES&Co. perform a La Ronde, a long-form improv structure where characters and scenes link together in a circular chain, each new scene connecting to the one before it.
Later in the show, storyteller Kim Lloyd takes the stage to share another true story from her life. From that inspiration, the ensemble launches into a Harold—a classic long-form improv format that weaves together recurring characters, themes, and scenes discovered entirely in the moment.
No script. No planning. Just two true stories and a cast of improvisers finding the comedy as it unfolds.
Filmed live, this episode captures the spontaneous creativity, collaboration, and joyful unpredictability that define long-form improv.
