Michelini is an internationally-known guitarist recognized for his ripping guitar style heavily rooted in the Chicago and Delta blues of the 40s through 60s. After 20 years of playing the swampy dives of New Orleans, Peter relocated to Maine and established the Preservation Blues Band.
Michelini is also well-known for his work with world-renown Archguitarist Peter Blanchette as one-half of the Archguitar duo, Blanchette and Michelini, with whom he played for ten years throughout the U.S. and Europe. Together, they released three recordings of Baroque and Renaissance music.
Keyboardist and composer Steve Brown is an in-demand player in the New England region. He is known for his soulful piano and Hammond organ sound developed through his many years of performance.
Chris Penney originally hails from Nova Scotia and has been bringing his driving bass sound to the Maine music scene for the past 20 years.
Rusty Beckett has been a percussionist on both US coasts for many years playing a variety of styles. Rusty is a one-man groove factory holding down the backbeat for the Preservation Blues Band with a style that is both artful and primitive.
