Maine Social Justice – Feminist Values – Abundance oir Scarcity

Years past, the word “feminist” conjured images of women fighting for equal rights. That was true then and still is….somewhat. Today, however, feminist values are more about how we live our lives and the relationship between ALL people of both genders and more between all people, the earth and all its creatures. It’s about living life in a sustainable way so that we can all thrive. It’s about respect. It’s about sharing. In this program you will hear everyday people talk about how their life fits within a sustainable world. Little conclusion is drawn by them. As you listen to these folks, think about how YOU are living and how YOU fit into a planet of possible abundance. This 19th Annual Changing Maine Gathering was taped on January 17th at the Viles Arboretum in Augusta, Maine.
