The American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, Fourth Edition (DSM IV) is 943 pages long and lists out 374 mental “disorders,” several of which could be placed upon any individual. The DSM IV is promoted as scientific, yet there’s no medical, blood or lab tests, CAT scans, etc. to prove that anyone has one of these disorders. All mental disorders are subjective opinions of behavior and unlike medical illnesses which are discovered, they are voted into existence at APA meetings.
