The Sankofa Journey to Racial Understanding
Early this year, Wendy participated in the Sankofa Journey. She was paired with an African American and traveled together on a bus with others to civil rights sites across the South. This journey has been part of the Evangelical Covenant Church’s commitment to becoming more multiracial.
