"Brethren Voices" host, Brent Carlson interviews Jay Wittmeyer, Executive Director of Global Mission and Services for the Church of the Brethren. Small in size, the Church of the Brethren has in many ways been a part of the global community for many years. Following World War II, the church, together with the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration assisted the rebuilding of Europe. From 1945 – 1947, the Brethren Service Committee, together with the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration sent 73 ships of livestock and agricultural supplies to war-torn Europe.
