Katie, a native of Galway City, grew up steeped in the traditions of Irish Music. She came to America when she won a scholarship for voice at Berklee College of Music. Her accolades include: the score for The Bog of Cats play; the soundtrack for the documentary Stories of the Fairy Folk; the original theme music for the play Man from Inniskeen; and the soundtracks for the Irish movies No Eye to Pity Her and The Busker.
