Podcasts
They are ubiquitous now, but people are listening! If you have an idea for a podcast, Portland Media Center is a great location to produce your series. We have an audio room designed to record interviews and narration and we have field recorders for recording on location.
We offer workshops for beginners and for experienced audio producers we can be a nice space to record. We can also be a community space to share your works-in-progress.
Workshops & Media Training
Our rotating schedule of workshops covers the fundamentals and beyond:
- How to use the audio space, the RØDEcaster Pro and microphones
- How to use our Zoom H6n field recorders
- Interviewing techniques
- Audio storytelling and project feedback
Workshops are open to all experience levels. Check our calendar for upcoming classes.
