Nick and Cash Cassidy are two brothers from Maine who are the minds behind Cassidy Pictures – an indie film studio based between Los Angeles and Maine. Using compelling organic narratives, stripped of all the perceived necessities that people believe filmmaking demands of its purveyors, Cassidy Pictures creates immersive films with lovable plots, irreverent characters, and a feel-good energy.

Their first film together, Childish Things, follows a musician and his brother as they road trip across the United States to sell a bus, meeting and collecting a unique cast of characters and pondering what it really means to live the human experience. Their sophomore film, Saving Black Bear, takes on a more irreverent tone: Four teenage movie theatre employees go to extreme lengths to rescue the establishment that holds them all together.
