Jerry O’Donnell serves as the Communications Director and Senior Advisor to Congresswoman, Grace Napolitano of California’s 32nd Congressional District. He has been serving in her office for approximately eight years. Jerry grew up in the Church of the Brethren and attended Juniata College, serving a year in Brethren Volunteer Service before going to the Dominican Republic to co-ordinate work camps for Brethren groups. While in the Dominican Republic he yearned to become involved in Washington D.C. and applied to be an intern for Grace Napolitano, which led to his current position. Jerry discusses the current administration ”zero tolerance policy” of separating children from their parents who are seeking safety and a better life from violence.
