Tom Handel, Executive Director

Tom has been involved with public access television since 1991 starting as a producer and board member of the public access station in Lincoln County. He has been Executive Director at CTN/PMC since December 1996, and he's very excited to see a broad range of people and groups in the Greater Portland area coming into the station making their voices heard.  He welcomes anyone with an idea for a television program to come in and chat with him about how to get started to make their idea a reality.

Brian Knoblock, Production Coordinator

Brian has over 30 years experience in broadcast network television news – first at CBS News and then at the Fox News Channel. In addition to his work as a field and studio producer he was also responsible for overseas news coverage at both networks, specializing in satellite transmissions and news operations. Brian also has over 15 years experience in Public Access television as a Producer, Director, Cameraman and Editor. He has worked on a wide variety of projects including documentaries, music performances and public service programs. He has also produced two news magazine shows, “Metuchen Magazine” in New Jersey, and the award-winning “The Second Act” in Maine.

Lesley MacVane, Development Coordinator

Lesley has other "talents" which she shares with PMC from time to time (producer, television host, videographer, kitchen cleaner, etc). She is the person to call when you have questions regarding membership or if you have an urge to give us some money!

Arthur Nichols, Volunteer & Access Producer Coordinator

Arthur has many years experience in video production, and is also a visual artist and a member of the Union of Maine Visual Artists (we host their gallery at PMC).

He is the person who will you help navigate the Portland Public Access Center (PPAC), including how to sign up for classes, and how to enlist volunteers to help out with your production. He teaches the video and photo editing classes, and can help you take your project from "production" to a finished project, ready to share with PMC and the world!

He is also responsible for a lot of the visual and graphic content found in our social media feeds, and in print.
