There are several new shows premiering in April and May on PMC5.
Figure it Out, which will air in the evening on Sundays at 9PM, produced by Robert SanGiovanni, who models as six artists draw his various poses and, in the first episode, host Jo Goiran describes the process and interviews the artists. Subsequent episodes will have different hosts.
The Mayor of Portland is back with his show, this time titled Strimling on the Street. The format is a noontime call-in show, which includes questions sent online, taped on the street, and posed by people coming into PMC during the live broadcast.
Matthew Francis, while continuing his series, Diversity Dignified, offers in April and May a two part series on mental illness from the consumers’ point-of-view called End the Stigma.
Paul Dervis, a playwright and director who lives in Kennebunk, starts a new weekly series this month interviewing local artists with a strong concentration on the performing arts and theater. His weekly show is called In the Belly of the Beast: Artists’ Voices in Our Hometown.
